Returns Policy

We offer 14 day returns for online purchases only. For orders made in store, please refer to the store’s specific return policy.

In the event of a return the cost of return will be on the purchaser, with a €100 handling fee. You will be responsible for proper repacking of the product in it’s original packaging. If the original packing is not accessible, no refund will be granted.

If the product is damaged during return due to improper packing, the cost of repair will be on the customer’s side.

All returns must have written consent via email from Fatboy Bike before they are to be shipped back to head office and processed.

What is the top speed of a Fatboy bike in Europe?

Our European bikes pedal assist reaches 25 KM/H. All Fatboy bikes in Europe meet the EN15194 certification.

How does the Throttle work?

The throttle functions as a walk/start assist up to 6 km/h without pedaling. Once you're pedaling, it provides additional assistance up to 25 km/h.

Can I bring a friend when I ride?

Yes, all Fatboy bikes are built with rear foot pegs for a passenger, and carry a combined rider weight of 180 KG.

Can I test ride a Fatboy Bike?

Yes, absolutely! Please visit us at Fatboy HQ in Ulm, Germany, or visit one of our stockists to test ride a Fatboy e-bike!

Where do I take my Fatboy Bike for repairs?

If it is general wear and tear on your Fatboy e-bike, you can take it to any local Bike store for repairs. We also have a servicing and repair department at our Fatboy HQ in Ulm, Germany.

What is your warranty period?

Our warranty period is 2 years or 10,000kms on all parts and electrical components. Please see our product warranty page for more information.

What does warranty cover?

Our product warranty covers manufacturing defects for two years. Damaged due to wear and tear such as worn out brake pads and punctured tyres are not covered under warranty. The warranty does not apply to damage or failure due to an accident, misuse, abuse, or negligence. Modification of the frame or components shall void this warranty. The warranty only covers part replacement and labour, and does not cover transportation charges.

How many assistance levels does the e-bike have?

Our e-bikes feature three riding modes: No Assistance, Eco-Mode, Climb-Mode. You can easily switch between the riding modes using the handlebar controls.
