What is the range of a Fatboy Bike on a full charge?

Our EN (road-legal) bikes offer a range of up to 100 km on a full charge.

Our Performance (Private Property) bikes offer a range of up to 50 km when using the throttle only, without pedalling.

Please note that the actual range may vary depending on factors such as rider weight, terrain, riding conditions and assistance level.

What is the top speed of a Fatboy bike in Europe?

EN15194 Certified Fatboy bikes provide pedal assistance up until 25 KM/H and can not be derestricted.

Off Road models are sold restricted to 25 KM/H, but can be de-restricted by the owner to reach up to 50 KM/H depending on rider weight and terrain.

How does the Throttle work?

EN15194 Certified Models: The throttle functions as a walk/start assist up to 6 km/h without pedaling. Once you're pedaling, it provides additional assistance up to 25 km/h.

Off Road Models: The throttle can be set to function as a 6KM/H start assist, or a fully operational throttle.

Can I bring a friend when I ride?

Yes, all Fatboy bikes are built with rear foot pegs for a passenger, and carry a combined rider weight of 180 KG.

Can I test ride a Fatboy Bike?

Yes, absolutely! Please visit us at Fatboy HQ in Ulm, Germany, or visit one of our stockists to test ride a Fatboy e-bike!

Where do I take my Fatboy Bike for repairs?

If it is general wear and tear on your Fatboy e-bike, you can take it to any local Bike store for repairs. We also have a servicing and repair department at our Fatboy HQ in Ulm, Germany.

What is your warranty period?

Our warranty is 2 years from delivery on the frame, battery, motor and all other components, with no mileage limit. It also transfers to the next owner if you sell your bike. See our warranty page for full details.

What does warranty cover?

Our product warranty covers manufacturing defects for two years. Damaged due to wear and tear such as worn out brake pads and punctured tyres are not covered under warranty. The warranty does not apply to damage or failure due to an accident, misuse, abuse, or negligence. Modification of the frame or components shall void this warranty. The warranty only covers part replacement and labour, and does not cover transportation charges.
